Shutterbugz first opened
its doors in the fall of 1998 in Salt Lake City's Millcreek-Holladay area.
Though it was small in the beginning, Shutterbugz was built on the hopes
and dreams of the owner, Steve Jensen, who
has successfully created a niche
in the photography industry.

Steve first became interested in photography in 1992 where he worked in a photo lab and portrait studio in Bountiful, Utah. When he first picked up a studio camera, he realized he had the eye of a photographer. Photographing people, places, and events quickly became the Steve's passion and occupation.
With the goal to offer a unique and fresh perspective on traditional photography Steve began Shutterbugz photographing weddings, families, and individuals with a style of his own. Different elements of photography, including traditional, candid, artistic and photojournalistic were combined to develop the style he uses today. It soon became obvious Steve was offering a unique service with a style that many appreciated. This fresh approach is the reason Shutterbugz has become so successful and so popular with today's brides and grooms.
Shutterbugz soon outgrew the original location in Holladay and moved to a new location with a much larger studio. Steve continues to photograph weddings, events, individuals and groups and has quickly become one of Utah's most respected and sought after photographers. So much of the business success is due to the many referrals from the happy couples and families Steve has had the privilege of photographing.
With this continued success, Steve will keep developing new perspectives, ideas and techniques that make his work so unique.
